I've got a CL ad running for my 'other' GTO project that never got off the ground. I decided to restore my '68 GTO and I'm over-budget on it so I need to sell the '69 in order to finance a couple other projects I've got (besides the '68).
It's a relatively complete '69 GTO with the factory 4-speed and limited-slip rear end in it. It's got a 400 in it, but it's not the original one. I ran the codes and it looks like it's a '72 (or so) Pontiac 400. The engine that's in it is a bit incomplete in that it will need an intake, carb, and heads. One of the heads is broken off on the corner like someone tried to lift it out of the car with the engine mounts still attached--I'm not sure.
Anyway, I've got another complete rebuildable core to be included with the car so you can mix and match components. You will need to buy a carb at the very least and either swap heads or rebuild the core that's being included as an extra.
I've spoken with others in the GTO club and at a couple car shows and everyone I've spoken to says that it's priced about right for what you get. It needs to be restored and will make a beautiful car once it's finished.
I'm asking $7500 for it as it stands, and that includes the spare motor, 4-speed, hide-a-way headlights, LSD rear end, and any misc parts that I have for it. It's a factory Paladin Silver with black vinyl top and black interior--an AWESOME color combo!
Let me know if you have any questions or need a full set of pics on it. PM me if you need a link to the picture set that I took last year before it was parked. It definitely needs a new home!
