69 firebird 400 emblem color

    I have a 69 that needs its emblems repainted. does anyone know the exact color they are supposed to be. My hood emblems appear to be a red orange and the trunk lid emblem is orange.

    Here's the only one I could find (a repro):

    ...which states that it's red for the Firebird 400 trunk emblem. Not sure why yours would be orange. And here's the hood emblem:

    It's also red. Sorry I don't have one to look at. Maybe someone else can chime if they've got one that is mostly stock...
