Hey Gang, i need to borrow a "Macro-Zoom" type camera ASAP for to take about 15-20 shots of my freshly painted LeMans. The shop F'ed up in several major and minor ways and elected to tell me to go bite myself because they feel they have given me a 'good enough deal already', and that they've taken a heavy loss due to time overages.
The way the 2 guys and the fellow who took me to them feel is that they A.) never called to approve any extra work or "time needed", and B.)I cannot be held accountable for the fact that a paticular job took way more time than quoted. I.E. the y did call to get some rust repairs approved for a cost of $173.25, now the owner is going off saying is there is "no way you can fix two quarter panels and the rear deck for that amount" NOT MY FAULT! I was quoted $173 so that's what I freaking paying, RIGHT, Make sense to everyone???
OK so I'm starting to rant... Not good, I haven't even BEGUN to cover the crap they did wrong AND totally G.D. Missed!!!

So again, I ask, does anyine have a "Macro-Zoom" camera I can borrow for a couple of hours to shot like 20 pictures of the mistakes they did for my files and to send down to Oregon to my friend that set me up with these assholes.
Camera can SLR, film, Digital, don't care, just has to to have "Macro-Zoom" capabilities. I have a brand new Cannon PowerShot but it will not focus that close up and/or detect some of the fine scratches I need on film.

    Thanks,
    Manic

I can help you try and get some good shots if you want. I can't let my camera go, but I can try and help you do it if you want to meet up somewhere. I'm on the Eastside, but I'm a moving target with work and I could easily come up north at some point. I could probably even do it this afternoon if you wanted to. I've got a 10 Mp camera with a pretty decent macro feature.

PM me or give me a ring if you want. My phone and email are on all the emails I've sent outside of the forum site...

Well, I wish I had been awake at some point today to see this. The car isn't leaving the garage till these issues are documented and or fixed. Plus there's a ton of stainless to put back on, marker lights, seats, you know the drill.
Call me in the morning if you are available.

OK, I've got to run out to an appt in Olympia this AM, but can call you while I'm enroute today. If I make good time at my appt, then I could be done by about noon or 1:00pm and headed back north--hopefully not past about 3:00pm or so. I-5 sucks!

    Talk to you soon...
