I had to get my car out to get an emission test, as my tabs are about to expire (I got my 30th Anniv. T/A right around when the Daytona 500 was happening in 1999).
    It was a BEAUTIFUL Saturday.
First, the emission tester commented as I started my car with a roar after the test, "That's music to my ears".
On the way home I stopped by a hobby shop in the Crossraods area of Bellevue, 'Trains, Planes, and Automobiles'. When I was leaving I noticed a 74' T/A SD455 parked outside as well. Was it one of our group? I didn't stay long enough to find out.
What an awesome day of roaring around in the sun.
Hope we get more days like that this spring and summer.

I too got my 'first drive of the year' yesterday in my '68 GTO. I can't say that its seen an emissions test for quite a while though! No tabs either, for that matter.

Reminder to self...when you have no anti-freeze in the car and you drain the water out of it because it's dipping down into the teens in late November, put a note on the dash so that you remember to fill it back up before spring. Luckily, I didn't toast it.

    Let's DRIVE!
