Hi all:
Yesterday I took the '71 for it's first road test and it was successful!!! It was a short drive to the gas station to fill up the gas tank and see if everything worked. The temp guage is not working but everything else is. I took an infrared temp reader with me to make sure it didn't overheat.
I brought it home and dialed in the timing, dwell and rebuilt carburetor so I will go for another run today and see how she goes. I LOVE the sound of a 4 speed Pontiac combo!
