So as you all know ive had a 73 firebird project car for the better part of my life. I have hit a wall in life and lost my new car to the bank. Long story, all pretty much bullshit i would need a really long page to explain it all.
i have been into firebirds my whole life and have never had one as a daily driver, I've been looking on Craigslist and there is a lot of great deals under 5k.
I am looking for one that i can depend on that is not all raced out (that's what my 73 is for) im looking for any insight or leads on birds. About my only request is that it is a manual. I hope someone can help i would really love to have one to drive every day thanks everyone

All fourth Gen birds Rock! I have owned in the past a 1995 Teal V6 Firebird and a 1999 Pewter Trans Am. The TA was not a WS6 car, but it was still pretty quick and gas milage was not bad. The V6 was a great daily transportation ride, good looks and very comfortable. So was the Trans Am! God I miss that car! Third Gens are not too bad, and they are reasonably priced too, but I think the fourth gens are a little more dependable, even though I have a 1989 305 4bbl and it sounds good, but not very quick at all. Good luck on your next Firebird, and then you can join the multi-bird members. Karen and I have a 1970 Formula, the 1989 Firebird, and our project 1976 Trans Am. Steve Leary has the most Firebirds at last count with 3 1968's, and a 1989 Trans Am convert. Jeff D
