    Hey Folks,

So, I see the club is participating in the 24th Cruise in at McDonalds here in Vancouver! This will be my first opportunity to participate in a club event! Who all is coming? I would love to put some faces with names off the forum list...

I am also planning on bringing my 76 to the club show...my son is going to apply for membership as well with his 86 TA.... this is going to be a great summer!

We definitely welcome new members, and the forum is a great place to chime in on the discussion! Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think the McDonald's Cruise-In is an officially-sponsored or scheduled 'club participation' event for the WWF club. There may be some club members there, but I'm not sure how structured it will be for us as a club.

I'm the one that inputs events onto the WWF calendar, so if it's a club-sposored event then I will change it to the correct category. We (I) try to post ALL events that may be of interest to our membership as well as other Western WA car enthusiasts, and the event list covers quite a large array of interests. You can sort by event type by going to the main WWF site (http://www.WWFirebirds.com) and clicking on the category at the bottom-left of the screen. If something is mis-categorized, then let me know and I'll correct it.

Thanks for the heads' up and hopefully we'll welcome you and/or your son to the club!

You are correct Sean, we have our club meeting on the April 24th, sorry Dwight. We will try and get down to you neck of the woods this year! We are planning on participating in the cruise to the end of the world in September, in Long Beach WA. Jeff D

Ah.... My mistake about it being a club function. Oh well, I am going to try to make it anyway. I would like to go to the Long Beach event also, but as I recall, you have to have a 74 or earlier car to participate? I keep thinking they will raise the year cut off as time goes by, but so far I haven't seen that happen....unless you guys know something I don't.

What else is going on in Vancouver this summer, show wise? Maybe we could plan a cruise to Mt St. Helens and meet up with you guys down there. Jeff D
