Just want to spread the word that there is a National First Generation Firebird Rally being held this August. The first of it's kind, all 1st gens from all over the country will be in attendance. It was organized to be held pretty close to the center of the country in Estes Park Colorado for the backdrop. It will be a full week-end filled with events for the whole family.
I plan on going and there are quite a few from the NW who are all planning on doing caravan down starting in Vancouver B.C., on down to Seattle, onto Portland, Then Idaho and Utah and onto CO picking up more and more first gens along the way.
I brought this up quite a while back when it was just in the idea stage, but now it's a full blown National Event unlike any other. Finally a chance to meet many you have know online over the years from all over the country, face to face and getting a chance to see their cars too! I know of people coming from NY, FL, TN, TX, MN, CA, UT, CO, NM, OK, MI etc as well as Canada. Even some flying in from out of the country just to attend as a spectator.
