I was wondering how many people were going to be there and what the costs are going to be to show and race?

Hey Matt, good to hear from you! Not sure how many will be attending for sure, infact, I have to send out an event reminder! Now this is a pretty fun event, either way, the show is good and the raceing is super fun! I am planning on going, and Brent West is also planning on going. The biggest issue is the weather. As you may know, if it is raining, it will be called off. Right now Saturday looks good, but as you know, wait a minute and it will change! Gate admission is $12, $10 for active military,Kids under 12 are free. The show is free with admission. To race, its $40 for tech and admission for the driver. Gates open at 8am. So if the weather holds, see you there! Jeff D

I really wish I could make it, but I have 2 other things going on that day, one in the AM and one in the afternoon. By the time the next BOP drags roll around, I hope to have my '73 Bird done and on the strip!

For whoever decides to go, come back here afterwards and give us a write-up for those of us that missed it. Pics would be cool too!

BOP = BMW, Olds, & Pontiac
Past: countless BMWs, Cutlass's, Birds, GTOs, Caddys, VWs, & Jeeps
    Present: a 3, a 7, a 442, a GTO, a Bird, & a jet boat--some even run!
    Future: '87 BMW 325 V8 & '73 Drag Bird
