    Hi there,
I have a 1969 Firebird and I want to join the club. I want to finish my car and get it on the road. Two things I need recommendations for is replacing a headliner and recovering my seats... any suggestions for places to take my car to? I live in Olympia. Also have a pair of blue seats for sale or trade. Great shape but I need black.

I'm moving this topic over to 'needs and wants' because 2 of the 3 things you brought up are related to things you need.

To join the club, either send an email to webmaster (below) or fill out the membership form on the website and come join us at an event. You can send in your form via mail with the membership fee, if that's easier than coming to an event.

That being said, we'd love to have you!

I had a bad experience the last time I had someone work on the interior of my car, but I do have a guy who comes highly recommended that I haven't used yet. He may not be the cheapest, but he's said to be a bit of a perfectionist and that's a good thing when it comes to restoring our old cars. He's on the Eastside past Issaquah, so that's a bit of a drive for you.

Let me know if you need his contact info, and if so, just email the webmaster (below) and I'll reply back.

We actually had a work seminar on recovering seats. It went very well and a few members did their own seat with great results. Maybe its time for another do it yourself workshop.

Heck ya, lets do it! I don't have any seats that need to be recovered, but I will be avaliable to help out!!! I have all the tools we would need to do it, hog ring pliers, streatcher, and a air powered hog ring gun.
