It's that time of year again! Nights are getting longer, darker, cooler, and rainier! Time for the Haunted Barn Party at Steve And Priscilla Leary's. It will be Saturday October 29th starting at 7pm. Please bring a side dish or your favorite snacks. The Club will provide a main dish and soft drinks. Please Contact Steve or Priscilla to RSVP or for directions at 360-668-6783. And costumes not mandatory, but it will be much funner if you do dress up!

I missed it, as I had to work that night. I ended up finishing work at like 7:00am or so on Sunday. It was a rough night to say the least!

Jeff, Steve, or others can fill you in on the details of the night. So how was Judas Priest? They were pretty popular when I was in high school, as I'm sure it was for many others...

I saw Judas Priest on their first North American tour. They rocked. My buddy Jeff called me up and said "Lets go to Judas Priest" I had never heard of them but was convinced that they were great so I said OK since we were both up and coming rock stars playng our guitars in our basements cranked to 11( Sorry Mom and Dad and nieghbors in hearing distance)!!!. Well the back up band was a 50s cover band that did back flips and sang doo whop!!
Not what the fans wanted. I was saying o Jeff " If Judas Priest is even close to how this band sounds, I'm walking" .
Well the first band wabooed'd off as the wholcoliseumum was yelling F#$% off in unison, they flipped the audience off and that was that. 20 minutes later the lights went down and the roar of that Harley amplified 1000s decibels louder than normal, sold me that this was going to be the best concert I had seen. From then on it was hard rocking Judas Priest!!!! This was back in 1982!!! Almost 30 years ago.
